Hi

We have a metering installation which needs to be tidied up as part of a house restoration.

The main problem is that although it has a modern style digital meter, it appears to be using the old E7 meter as a clock to switch between day and night tariffs.

I would like to remove the bulky old meter before boxing in the rest.

pics to follow once I’ve managed to shrink the file sizes

TIA

Iain

Although you will few on this forum who will recommend them, one way out of your dilemma is to have a smart meter installed.

When the fitter comes you can ask him to remove any redundant gear, though he should do that anyway.

Thanks, we’re going down that route.
