Wiring an electric screen via extension cord instead of into the wall. Feasible? , how much would it cost?

Hi, struggling to understand the schematic for this electric projector screen (https://imgur.com/LZ03PCQ) which has 4 wires (https://imgur.com/45nLQ1t)

It is supposed to be connected to the switch which controls the up and down function of the screen. Front = https://imgur.com/DQVNnoX Back 1 = https://imgur.com/tq9ZB3f Back 2 = https://imgur.com/iZzC6w3

I am confused on how do the 4 wires connect into the switch. I can only see where the Brown (live) and black (live) go in, I am assuming the reason there are 2 lives is for up switch and down switch.

I was told by a friend that the electrician will need to connect the earth and neutral to something else rather than the switch called a terminal block (https://imgur.com/qJx1Rxz) or a cable connector (https://imgur.com/Gy9b0mw). Where do the neutral and earth wires attach to thats my main difficulty in understanding, and to what does it attach to?

I dont want to open up the walls, I would rather the electrician cut off a 1 gang exention lead (https://imgur.com/oTefDbI) and attach this to the control switch so I can just control the screen via a plug socket

I am not very technical so probably going to get a sparky to do everything. I just want to know is what I am asking possible / realistic, and ballpark cost is this a simple job for them or a big charge before I contact a tradesman and get ripped off.

 
standard motor connections... green/yellow is your earth, blue is your neutral, brown & black are your lines for up & down (directions depend which way, just take a guess and if its wrong swap them). you have a full wiring diagram on your first link. tbh if you cant understand it, you best be gettign someone who does

Yes I said I would get someone who knows how. My question was to understand what is required, what is possible and what I could be charged for.

I want to know where the earth and neutral go, in something like a wago connector 2-wire? and if its possible to splice it into an extension lead.

 
Just to clarify

for the 2 wire version of the wago connector cable , you take the earth from the projector screen and put it in one of the holes, and the earth from the extension lead and put it in the 2nd hole.

with the other 2 wire wago connector you take 1 neutral wire from the projector screen put it in slot 1, and in slot 2 take the neutral wire from the extention lead.

the brown and black live wires from the projector screen go into the switch, and then the live wire from the extension lead goes into the switch.

Or have i got confused and the wago takes 1 neutral and 1 earth rather than 2 of the same x2

 
wago connectors need to be used individually, ie 1 for L, one for N and one for earth. the number of 'holes' in it define how many cables it is designed to take. For example a 2 way wago allows for 2 cables of the same polarity to be connected together. don't forget these connectors need to be housed in a suitable enclosure.

 
Have you got the up / down switch?  did that come with it?  If not that is your first challenge.  TIP an ordinary light switch is NOT what you want.

Ok great makes perfect sense of what to do with the earth and neutral wires. In that neutral goes with neutral in a wago, and then I need another wago for the earth, and from that it goes to the spliced extension lead

If i wanted to extend the length of the black and brown live wires as the amount it comes out of the projector screen is very short. Could i use the wago connector connecting brown and another connecting black to a longer piece of them which is attached to the control switch. And then the control switch would be combined to the extention lead as normal.

So instead of:

Projector screen brown live wire --> Control unit <--> extension lead plug socket

Projector screen black live wire --> Control unit <--> extension lead plug socket

Projector screen earth wire to wago  <--> extension lead plug

Projector screen neutral wire to wago  <--> extension lead plug

To:

Projector screen brown live wire --> Wago + brown live wire  <--> Control switch unit <--> extension lead plug socket

Projector screen black live wire --> Wago + black live wire <--> Control switch unit <--> extension lead plug socket

Projector screen earth wire to wago  <--> extension lead plug

Projector screen neutral wire to wago  <--> extension lead plug

I have made it in picture format so its easier to understand what I am trying to get across in terms of extending the wires comming out of the projector screen as its only a few inches, and I need greater length in order to mount the control switch at an appropriate place on the wall.

they dont look like genuine wago connectors, if they are linked internally then it wont work, youd need individual ones, otherwise all good. considering your electrician is doing this, you seem to be doing a lot of planning for them...
