Dry lining boxes are they allowed when installing dimmer switches

looking for advice on whether it is allowed to use dry lining boxes if in stalling dimmer switches I a stud wall

My favourite DL boxes are Appleby, they never give problems, but some of them are dire.

 

If you really think you are going to have a problem with your dimmer, TLC sell metal dry lining boxes complete with an intumescent seal in the back.

Its allowed, but go for as deep a box as your can to give extra air space around it.

What is / are the concerns please ?   Heat dissipation, fire risk, or electromagnetic radiation?
