hi guys been a while. i am helping a mate do his new extension. An old out building used for a studio has been knocked down and replaced with a larger kitchen diner and shower/toilet and studio. the original outbuilding was supplied by a 16mm armoured from the main ccu. this armoured is not long enough to be positioned for the new ccu for the extension. he has brought 6m of 10mm armoured to extend this to the new position. there will be

1 x 32a ring for kitchen

1 x 32a ring for studio

1 x 6a light

1 x 6a for electric veluxes

1 x induction hob. (not sure what amps for this as induction hob is second hand - any ideas???)

is the 10mm armoured enough?

Been a while since what?

What are your calculations so far?

Do you not think a few more facts and numbers are needed...?

Or are you expecting us to just guess a selection of random answers for you to pick the answer that suits you?

I would suggests doing a few correct design calc's then selecting a cable..

Wonder how far the building is from the origin?
I reckon that it I too far for the already bought bit of 10mm to be of any use!

any thoughts as to the earthing?

also H.T.A.F. has he decided that 10mm is a good way of extending a 16mm?

scenario, this 10" girder is too short so I will extend it with a bit of 6"
