Hi
Have just purchased a 40 tube vertical Sunbed , load on plate is 6.7kw , am thinking of putting in a seperate 63A RCD with a 40A MCB to feed it ! , question is there any other safety precautions that should be installed/fitted to the Sunbed or is the RCD enough protection .

cheers
BB

Yeah don’t do it, it’s bad for your skin. As someone who suffers from skin pre cancers through sun damage I see no advantages in using sun beds.

Sorry for being negative and not giving any technical input but I just don’t like the things.

PS what do the manufacturers instructions say about the installation?

Sounds adequate to me, but I'm with Roys - UV is bad for your skin, use it sparingly!
