Adding an additional bell box

Hi 

Would really appreciate any help. I have an old Lyntech Nexus 8 panel and alarm system which has been brilliant and really reliable. When we had a rear extension wired a new AZ-TECH siren/strobe box and now all complete I have tried to get it to work with old bell box and panel but it just won't work. I have set to SCB to protect panel, but nothing working. Any advice would be appreciated

For future reference, to connect two sirens to a panel in order that they both work properly requires the use of relays, so unless you are good with a relay..............

Originally you could easily connect two bells together, but since most sounders are electronic sirens they do not pass enough current, hence a relay is required.

In short the return of one is the supply for the other, it catches a lot of people out. You can NOT wire them in parallel.
