Light switches!! Help please

Trying to swap a plastic single light switch to a nice chrome single switch, however when I took the face off, it’s wired completely differently to what I would expect....see picture. How can I make it fit the new switch? 

Sorry thought I’d attached the picture but it hasn’t worked!! Old switch has 4 wires going to L1 L2 L3 and L4 there are two grey wires and two black wires. New switch just has a com, L1 and L2??? Any ideas

from your description sounds like you are trying to replace an intermediate switch with a two-way switch...

I guess this switch is one of multiple switches working the same light(s)..

you've bought the wrong type of switch.
