Hello all,

Just been to quote on adding a couple of sockets in a bedroom on the current ring main. But house has an old fuse box where the fuses have been replaced by plug in mcb's. But there is no RCD. Was hoping to be able to find a plug in rcbo but can't seem to find them, do they exist? If so anyone reccomend somewhere to get one. Did mention about changing whole board but customer didn't seem to keen on that, was thinking my only other option is to run out of fuse board with 6 or 10mm into stand alone rcd unit then running the ring main from the rcd.

No they do not do a plug in RCBO, as a nuetral is required for correct operation of the devise.

Thanks hornet, I never thought of that, that explains why they don't do one!!
