Evening all - seems to be a lot of TT queries of late!? Testing today and Ze (rod resistance) of 34.0 ohms; rather good I thought - but Zs on various circuits is around 0.85 to 1.70 ohms. I presume with the main bonds to water and gas connected these parallel paths are making the readings lower - but these readings seem really low. Anyone else had this kind of caper before. Any ideas?

metallic gas/water pipe to next house, through their bonding and their PME supply.
Obviously the low readings are good in my customers house, but is this scenario OK as is - I presume it must be?

if you had a neutral earth fault it would act as pme and give you a very good ze/zs reading
