Guiness Drink I am about to upgrade an old CU to a 17th Ed Dual split box. Between the existing CU and meter there is a 100amp Wylex Dp switch and fuse. (Makes it very easy to change the CU). In order to comply with the 17th Ed is the Wylex Dp Sw sufficient or does the CU also need to have a 100amp Dp switch incorporated.

Can anyone recommend a dual split box which will take 16 or more MCB's, without going daft my supplier only stocks Mk and Wylex up to 14 ways?. Guiness Drink Guiness Drink Guiness Drink

you will still need a 100a DP switch incorporated within the new consumer unit.

mk sell a 16 and 21 way module unit.

these are the model numbers for each

16 way - k5516s

21 way - k5521s these are the ref codes from my local wholesaler...

wylex do a 17 split bord. screwfix sell them. problem is they are not full rcd, so u would need rcbo as well,
