I have got a job to connect a brand new mobile home (residential) to a supply which is basically a caravan box with between 1 & 3 SWA'scoming into it.

The caravan box is temporarily on a spike and needs to be disconnected and re-sited within a service box built into the "home"

Now, assuming the "home" is brand new it will come with certs. The site is also new so they should have certs for that..

Assuming I can get my hands on these certs, what cert should I issue for this job!!

If its just connection and all certs available, id go with MWC, and do basic tests (Zs, RCD times etc)

your not adding a new circuit so i dont see why an EIC would be required

how long will it take? is there much involved? can you get on site and work your way through them, or is each one as and when required?
Unfortunately, as and when..

but they are only 5 mins down the road from me, so I could fit them in!

The job is..

Disconnect supply to caravan box, remove SWA (could be 1 or 3) feed SWA into supply box built into "home" and refit caravan box, connect tails for "home" cu to caravan box..

TBH I recon on about 2 hrs with a bit of testing

Notifiable work is only for domestic properties.

Caravans come under different regulations and are not included in part p.
