Client wants four spotlights in the bathroom ... diamond formation if you like ..

standard small bathroom, 2m x 2.7 approx .. 2.4 high .. bath/shower, sink, toilet ... found four Aurora 13W SGU10 at the wholesalers, bit bigger, 90mm cutout ... end of line very good price but wondering now if it would be too much in there ... or it would provide good light for the room ..dunno .. Lights are out of the zones ..

Always good to bounce ideas off other people ..

I'd go for that. Any less and you're not going to get a decent spread of light.

Good point ... they'll be outside the zones and not directly above the bath as such .. and although not IP44 they are enclosed fire rated ... would that seal be sufficient to prevent moisture ?

the fire seal is not always a seal - it expands on fire, and often has ventilation holes at the top

Ip rated ones normally have a double seal, one for the lamp fitting itself and one for the contact with the ceiling.

I always fit ip rated lights in a bathroom.
