chaos has anyone got any views/ideas on how i can obtain an NVQ3

i am emplyed as an NICEIC qualifing manager. i have city and quilds 1/2

17 edition and 2301 testing and inspecting, i have been employed as a sparky for over 8 years

If you have C&G s 1 &2 (is that the same as the older A & B ?) + 17th + testing Why would you need anything else ? What is an NVQ3 anyway?

when you have just city and guilds part 1 and 2 without the nvq i believe it is considered a technical qualification. you could sit in a classroom and achieve all this without touching cable. A nvq3 is evidence you have been doing the job, hence the portfolio of work. i dont think you can get a JIB grading without a NVQ unless you can prove your experience to them in some way.

So this seems strange as you have experience...
