have i missed some thing

I go away for a few days and when i come back

1. cant use the shortcut i have used since year dot.

2. i am now a newbie (what ever a newbie is ( it sounds American))  

3. the forum has changed colour (color) 

what is going on???

the one on my desktop 

i have used the same one since 2008 when this web started 

the site has been moved to a new host in the USA as part of it's sell off to new owners.

The good news is that as shareholders we are all in for a massive bung following the sale in the US of A.

I had a similar problem..

I think your old shortcut may have had a "www." in it...

Which now pops up a message about site not found?

Old shortcuts to 

Http://www.electricanforum.co.uk

and

Http://www.electricianforum.co.uk

Were automatically forwarded by the old server to https://talk.electricanforum.co.uk

The new server is not capable of this
