Hi all,

Q. On a construction site a final circuit exceeding 32A and supplied by a TT system shall have a disconnection time not exceeding

a.0.2s

b.0.3

c.0.8

d.1.0sec

the ans is d, but, I found from P.46 table 41.1 and P.181

the time is 0.3sec, why 1.0sec??

please help.

table 41.1 is for final circuits NOT exceeding 32a. go to reg 411.3.2.4 (pg 47) states disconnection time not exceeding 1s.

pg 182 reg 704.411.3.2.1 tell you to go to pg 46/47. hope this helps wayne

For a TT System it is 1 Second for circuit exceeding 32A, and for circuits under 32A 0.2 Sec's.

Haven't got the regs with me but the 0.2 is from the table, and the 1 sec is in the text near it.
