Don't know if you remember me posting about the school that has a new timber outbuilding, & the main earthing for the submain?

Anyway I've had some feed back & the reason that the contracted electrician can not TT the outbuilding.

It is because the local authority say TT'ing is an unsafe earthing arrangement for a school.

 
is my copy of 7671:2008 outdated?
Guess it is not, but local authority have there own standards on top, do the same with fire regulation in some instances.

I disagree with their assesment of TT but if thats their standard. :|

i know exactly what LA are like with their stupid rules that makes no sense
