Hi, can I install light switches in my home if the've been bought outside of the UK? There is a CE mark on them instead of a British Standards mark.

The manufacturer is a leader in the industry (www.bticino.com), made in italy, genuine CE marked, 16A 250V.

Would these be covered in case of insurance claim, being CE and not BS approved?

thank you

paul

This is a Legrand company & the products are available in the UK. Since the CE mark is a EU standard, there should be no problem.

ExBDC has said it all .EX are you back in the wholesaling business again , since the collapse of them whose name we do not utter. If so, who and where ?
Thanks for asking but it seems having worked for you know who seems to be the kiss of death in the industry. There are a lot of us still out of work nearly 12 months after the event. X(
