Connected a Mira sport shower today and when testing the earthing arrangements found out the following

Tns supply main earth connected to sheaf.

Ze was was between 4.8 and 5 ohms Do I have to contact the power company to get this updated

 
It could be argued that the readings you found would constitute an emergency.

It will require fixing asap.
