Depends what you are after...

I have both a cheap (sub 20 quid) brother, and a Rhino (Dymo) 5000

If you asked me if the Rhino was worth it - I'd say for normal lables no! But if you need to use better tape and have more special options (fixed label widths, sequential numbers, etc) then yes.

For most things, stick with a cheap brother type printer :D

At the moment I have a bust Dyno Letratag..

It's OK, but it is lacking in features,, I want something a bit better, but without spending a small fortune..

I am starting to think about getting the RHINO 3000

 
the rhino 1000 has some good things like

OHM symbole as well as socket , lights etc.

you can give it a messurement i .e 22mm and it will fit your text into that space! and not go over it~!

 
I have the Rhino 5000 kit. Well worth it, and handy for labelling heatshink tubing too.
