whats the short circuit capacity of a bs 88 type e cutout fuse? It didnt say it on it? Any ideas what I write on a cert?

Also is 'Supply conductor CSA' the tails or incomer to head.

i think its 40Ka (part 1) and 80Ka (part 2)

and i think BS1361 service fuses are either 16Ka or 33Ka

Some can be rated to 120 KA

Just checked One thats in the top of my tool box is made by Lawson and is 120Ka

I'm unsure what to put on a cert if its not on the fuse? TBH Im sure it was a bs88, are they sometimes bs88s?

i always put 'sealed' for supply fuse. if i cant legally check it, how do i know whats in there?

err on the side of caution and go maybe for the 16.5Ka might be wrong but errs on the correct side, and i'm guessing your PFC is nowhere near that.
