I concur (is that not French too) :D , funny thing is over 10k of the words we use in English are French (most of the words used in law!!)

And Patch not to mention a large number of place names around you are Dane

The French knicked the words of us in the first place.

Did you know they have no word for 'cafe' as just one example

(thought most legal words were Latin?)

Cafe eh?, really! ;) , did you know gullible has been removed from the OED

After William the Conqueror, the whole court thing was in French including trials (2 more in that there sentence, oops another 1)

Well French is derived from Latin so not a big surprise (2 more)

BTW Admin has now added Google translate I guess for these two to feel at home, kin hard work reading it in Japanese, so I'll stick to me muver tung
