imperial cable

Hi all, when it comes to imperial cable, is there a preferred way to record it in the csa column on your paperwork. I.E. do you actually put the number of cores along with the diameter in both the line and cpc columns or do you find the nearest csa equivelent.

Acknowledgements to PC; Lighting 3 strands 29/1000" dia.

Ring and radial power 7 strands 29/1000" dia.

These ( I stand to be corrected) were in the earliest PVC

FTE conductors in PVC.
