Thanks Geoff.  Grateful for your prompt reply.  As for knowing how everything works - sorry but if I haven't ever had to use the programmer (as just leave heating working with thermostat), I wouldn't remember.  Keeps people like you in business - just with this virus we don't really want anyone...

HELP Powercut here last night.   Just noticed the programmer in the hall cupboard (LP111) is flickering and the display is blank. There is another programmer (LP711) next to the Joules unvented water heater in the kitchen which seems fine Can't even remember why there are two programmers...
