Thanks for that. I decided to put it as a recommendation though it is part of a very long list anyway.

Mainly because it is included in the checklist in GN 3. It is an office block with sensitive equipment in. There is no lightning protection. Happy to accept i am potentially creating a problem where one does not exist. 

New member so please be patient. I am currently carrying out an EICR on an office block. Apart from a long list of other problems what do i classify a lack of surge protection as? Or do i not need to note it. Any help appreciated.
