Hello all...Been a while sorryBlushing Over in Perth now and finally working. I've managed to get a job as a electrical trades assistant (mate). Nobody will touch you without your A-grade electrical license which I'm in the process of getting. The TRA trades recognition australia take an age to...

Thank you for all the best wishes guys. Visa was approved on Tuesday. Flying out on Thursday morning (29/10) business class no less! Girlfriend's company is paying so I convinced her that this will probably be this lucky to experience flying in this manner! Got a great leaving party planned for...

It's going through at the moment. It's been 3 weeks so far and should be here in another few. My girl's being sponsored by her company for a 4year visa and apparently they fast track it when it's from a company. We were given a time-frame of 6-8weeks.

I'm travelling over on my girlfriend's visa which allows me to study there. Did have a brief look into vetassess but it would have taken too much time before I would have been able to apply for my own visa. Are testers supplied at the assessment or do you provide your own? The detailed list of...

I've heard you need to work under a spark for about a year before you can get a licence but it sounds like it may be good for business not having bob the builder doing the electrics?!

Hello all. I shall be emigrating down-under shortly and wondered if anyone here had any info on the Australian electrics trade? Any advice appreciated. I've discovered jumbuck is slang for sheep courtesy of Eggheads!

    Contactors

the fuse is a 32 amp same as the contactor but I need to change to a 60amp one. It's to switch a supply off for a sound limiter.

    Contactors

The existing is a single pole. I'm connecting straight from a 60amp mcb so doesn't the contactor switching the power have be rated the same or higher? Also needs to be able to house 16mm.

    Contactors

doesn't show. can only see 13 and 14 NO and doesn't show coil voltage on the side can only see 690V? The fuse carrier on the left takes the incoming and the outgoing goes next to it all linked besides a2. Do all 4 poles need to be linked then?
