    No after the meter theres a flexi pipe then 300mm of pipe which goes into the concrete floor. it is connected in the middle of the flexi pipe. I thought it was wrong but wanted to make sure.Thanks. :P

    Hi all, Just been round a friends house and noticed the main earth bonding is connected to the flexi gas pipe after the meter and not to t:yawnhe lead or steel pipe after the flexi. is this right?

    Thanks for all your advice guys I might join one of the DI schemes. The problem is I havent got anything to invest and dont really want to take out loans (would be different if it was a full time thing). also wanted to work along side someone to learn and build confidence as its very daunting...

    Took the exam on 11th March. Found it quite easy but was still not sure how I did. I was lucky in the fact that I revised the questions I got. some of the big ones I had was explain ring contiuity test, pfc test & draw diagram for the earth fault loop impedence on a tns system. Happy daysROTFWL
