The Volex RCD spur has a max operating temp of 40 degC. I cant see it geting that hot in an airing cupboard. I would notify myself.

I've had good results with "Sticks like sh*t" from screwfix, much better then no more nails in my opinion

I use a megger MFT1552 myself, I've never had a problem with it. second choice would be a fluke.
