    Partial shading of installation

I have spoken to my uni electronics lecturer about this. It's more to do with the temperature variation. Semiconductors don't like high temps, it changes the electrical make-up of the material. Diodes are normally located on the back of the panel and are therefore subjected to serious temps in...

    PV domestic installers course

Was referring to the m c s earlier. steptoe, i can see your point about 2391 but every contractor in the land should be regularly testing. PV is not nearly as common and it would be nice if the 'PV Installer Course' offered slightly more insight into PV installation for those that would like...

    Seasonal Demand?

Just wondering if all the pv installers out there are expecting less demand for domestic installations over the winter months or will the FIT's keep the demand up? Just trying to get through the hype and determine the actual demand?

    There givin it away

Fair point, but the tariffs will be marginally less in 2 years and there is still this note at the bottom of the table: *NB This tariff is available only for 30,000 microCHP installations. A review will take place when 12,000 units have been installed. So what happens after 30,000 and how many...

    HND Electrical-Electronic Engineering

I finished 2330 level 3 in june 2009 and started a part time HNC in sept alongside NVQ3, 2391 and am2. I only had 2 modules to do last year and it was quite a strain. Passed them tho. My 2 modules were renewable energy and sustainability/energy management. started off with pretty familiar stuff...
