    EasyCert

I have spoken with them several times and they are very helpful but I also feel multi user setting are a low priority for them

    EasyCert

Any of you guys out there using EasyCert within a large company? We recently purchased approximately 30 licences to trial. Its a great bit of software that IMO is miles ahead of all other offerings however we are hitting a lot of issues due to being multi users and wondering if there any...

Yip Megger now come with hard case (not the best of cases as theres no compartments so everything just gets bunged in) and all leads. From my shot play with it (ecept for the loop impedance fault) I think I will be happy with it. Cheers Mark, I just spoke to Nick who has been dealing with this...

Papers required for electrician work in UK

Couldnt he contact the JIB (assuming its the same as SJIB up here in sunny scotland?). They may be familiar with Dan's courses and some may qualify for equivalent UK certificates and they should be able to advise on any further training if required.

A wee update... I opted for the Megger MFT 1730 On-site and bought it from ISSWWW (who are part of Edmundson but with better service lol), happy with the service and the meter but had problems with the Loop Impedance readings coming out at aproximately 4 time what it should be. I phoned ISSWWW...

Hmm bit worried now if Megger is classed as the slow one and your Metrel is quicker than Fluke and I found my Metrel a bit slow but bearable, whats the Megger going to feel like for me??

    Testers

Yeah that was pretty much the answer I expected but wanted to check any way, thanks :-) Quicker & better than the Fluke or the older Metrel? Very true, however I heard they are very busy and can take a few weeks to get it back once it ends up there, but repair turnaround seems a big problem...

Anyone know of or have used the Ethos brand? I believe their stuff is rebadged brands, majority being Seaward? Had a wee play in CEF with a MFT1730 yesterday and Im leaning towards this (really didnt like the case though). How do you all rate the bundled software? Do you know if you can import...

Looking like its between Fluke and Megger, the Megger is apparently quite slow though?

How do you find these testers for zeroing of leads IE do you only need to do it at each power on or do you find you need to do it more regular than that because I found the last Metrels I had I would have to zero and check/zero after every test even if Im doing about 10 continuity tests in say...
