It's a Yamaha ybr. It's a motorbike not a moped. I could do with some advise about the ignition barrel 👍

Hi guys.  Has anybody fitted a two way alarm to a ybr? I have got everything working apart from the remote start. The ignition turns on and trys to start but won't. If I put the key in the barrel and turn it on it will start ?? I didn't think there was an immobiliser in the barrel.  Any help...
