Just went to look at a bathroom, it had x2 mettle spots, one above the shower the other above the sink, neither working, i pulls down the one above shower..earth wire hanging off, i reconect it, i pull down the other spot..the same earth wire was connected to live..i kid you not, i could have...

just interested, say you are fitting a surface mount back box over a sunken back box, i.e. trunking the cable, i was shown to drill two holes under the securing threads for the light switch, screw the surface mount to the sunken box trough these holes.. thats hard to explain, but now i drill out...
