Not your normal fault find & repair job.

Had a call to a fire engine that lost all 24v & 12v power to all onboard computers/phone/tracking/radio equipment, when the wagon was plugged into the 230v charging supply.....

Found the on vehicle isolating relay at fault

When the vehicle was built they secured the relay in a ip rated box under the vehicle, by a nut & bolt through the side of box...it leaked:C

Fire engine catching fire...now that would have been good on you've been framed :^O

I lead a varied working life:p

ive done loads of 12v wiring to vehicles for lights etc. so far, the most water resistant thing ive found is a non IP rated box with a hole in the bottom
