This has been highlighted by the Fire service, the following is a warning from them. 28th January 2016 We have become aware of a scam email currently doing the rounds pretending to be from the Charity. This one's quite explicitly fraudulent - there's a PDF attachment of a letter with our logo, saying you've won £600,000 in our Lottery and just asking you to fill in all your life details and then to email them to a gmail address. We do not run an email based Lottery and the Charity would not ask for this type of personal information. The Jackpot for our Lottery is up to £25,000, which is the maximum amount allowed for a society based Lottery. Please share this and make sure everyone knows it's nonsense and not to respond to it! If anyone has reported receiving these emails, please can you let us know the name and contact details of each individual by emailing - marketing@firefighterscharity.org.uk. Thank you very much for your help with this. Marketing and Engagement Team
