Hi, and thanks for letting me join. I propose to replace the 12 x 12v, 10 watt G4 tungsten lamps and transformer in my dining room fitting with 12 x  2 watt G4 LED's and need to know driver specification. the 12 lamps are wired in parallel. If anyone could help me it would be appreciated as my knowledge of ohms law is very basic. Thanks in advance.

Well you can just add up the lamp wattage and that's the amount of 12 volts power you need.

I recommend using two or more small drivers rather than one big one. I also suggest under-running them to extend their life, for example use two 15 or 20watt ones, each supplying 6 lamps, (12watts).

Locate them to keep the low voltage wiring reasonably short and don't bury them in insulation.to help them run cool.
