Hi,

We havea Groegg which is basically a baby room thermometer and night light.

It is mains powered but wife lost the power supply plug and adapter cable. It’s about 7 years old. The manufacturer dont have the power cable anymore and don’t know the name (Indian call centre) so were very unhelpful.

For the life of us we cannot identify what this is called or the name of the rectangular connector to be able to find a replacement online! Please can someone help to identify it? It’s a very small rectangle with a bit in the middle (see photo). Sorry, I cant zoom anymore than that.

We’d really appreciate anyones help! Many thanks in advance.

Ive searched for Groegg of course Sharpend thanks and related search for power adapter to no avail.

The Groegg is now Groegg 2 which is a rechargeable battery unit. Ours is NOT that but mains powered. So searches bring up the more up to date power supply which is not the same as the original.

Many thanks!
Here's a complete one looks like yours. Probably cheaper than a replacement would be.

Thanks Geoff yes given the price I think this is the way to go! 👍🏼 Many thanks.

It looks like you have your solution, but just FYI the power plug in the rear of the mains gro egg also contains at least the temperature sensor, maybe more.
My guess is that this is to keep the sensor away from any heat generating components in the egg it's self.

Sensor is the black dot by the wires.
