Retrofit Electric Plinth Heater with room stat (ideally wireless)

I originally posted asking for recommendations for a new plinth heater but have managed to get my old one working again.

Now looking for suggestions of how to retrofit it with a wireless / programmable room stat.

I seem to have answered this one myself - you can simply plug into a pass though socket which will communicate wirelessly with a remote stat. Job done!
