Replace thermostat with Hive

Hello, I'm planning to replace my wall thermostat with a new one, I was looking at the Hive but not sure if it is compatible with the current wiring, any hints? See the photos below of my current Salus 300:

is your boiler a combi or system?

fully pumped OR pumped Ch and Gravity water?

possibly how many heating zones

all you have posted is a picture of your stat....a Hive is a stat and programmer combined and needs more connections than you have in the pic

Thanks, I have a Worcester bosch 28i combi boiler, 2 bedroom house. My idea was to replace the thermostat on the wall with hive receiver but If hive is not suitable what alternative can I use?

Hive IS suitable.....single channel

BUT you will need a permanent supply from your boiler feed to power it

getting it wrong can lead to a whole world of hurt

I spoke with Hive customer support and they told me the Hive STL5 has 2 wires only L ans SL with batteries so it should be compatible.

I've seen also on youtune someone installing Nest on the wall with 2 wires only

yes just connect the brown to the L and the blue to the SL put your battery's in first and connect to your wifi , and you should be good to go
