2396...what next?

ok my employer has agreed to pay for my design and verification course and i know it will be tough but can anyone tell me what sort of jobs i could get after i complete it or what other steps can i take to further my career or more importantly increase my wage :^O

Hi ,

Unfortunately i've not seen any job vacancies requesting the 2396 design cert as an employment requirement but thats not to say its not worth doing.

Gaining this qual could lead to getting a Technician grading if youre registered with the JIB.

Or it could be a stepping stone towards a HNC if you want to get off the tools and into design engineering properly.

Hope your good with maths , i've heard the exam calcs are a killer lol.
