As far as I'm aware I'll be using the "com" and "no" contacts as when I press the button I will want the light on to then witch off on the set time.

Ok thanks for that. So I picked up an elkay timef from Screwfix this evening seems like it'll work. Now for the hard part to wire it . Had a quick Google to see about direction but not much luck. any advice on the matter?
Ok so I would that not require the selec 600 relay alongside this? As the elkay states it can be set from 5 sec to 5 mins but I am unsure how this would be set? Apologies for the lack of knowledge or stupid questions lol
Hmm would could that be set to say 15,16 or 17 secs as the dial shows1,3,5 secs etc This isn't as straight forward as I originally thought 😂

That is correct. I was going to use a switch on it and use my phone for a timer which would work but this process will be quite frequent so would be tedious and it needs to be very accurate so not 100% reliable
