I'm changing a cu over for an up to date 17th edition board, no worries.
Having briefly looked over the existing instlallation there appears to be no bonding and the main protective conductor looks like 6mm maybe 10 but I doubt it.. It's a TT installation and the conductor heading...
Are halogen down lights dimmable? How do you find out if the tranny for the lights will be compatible with the dimmer tranny?

What if there's no earth at the light itself? Do you code it as something/ how would you record a correct Zs for that light circuit? From the furtherest switch??
Alright all.. I'm looking to buy me a tester.. Problem is price and vast options.. I've worked with megger and fluke and I prefer megger any day of the week.. But people say otherwise.. If you do recommend megger which series?

Wouldn't running a cable "outdoors" be classed as a new outdoor wiring although not a new circuit.? Therefore requiring building control?
