Wouldn't blowing the main fuse depend on what EV the OP gets, as some monitor the power consumption from the incoming and then alter the charge power accordingly.

Yes he could, but it's less wiring and he can put the switch were he wants, if using a wireless one. It's just another option for him. 

If you want a light switch in the bathroom and you prefer a standard looking switch than a pull cord, then you could always used a wireless switch, like Quinetic Wireless Switch

I've never messed with the circuit of one.  Never needed to as it always worked. What's the make and model?  Someone on here may be able to help.

The metal could be some metal capping and the cable is behind it.  If it is capping then a new cable might be able to be pulled through, using the old cable and a maintenance free connection added, or a new cable back to the source.  It's hard to say what would actually need to be done and how...

Welcome to the forum mate. If you have drilled into a cable then a repair will be needed.  Will have to see how much damage you have done to the cable. Is the cable still live? What does the cable feed? Can you take pics?  You might have to remove some plaster to see what damage has been...

There are a couple of problems with this. 1. Wago need to be in an enclosure. 2. Removal of the socket may then mean that the cables are not in a safe zone.

Also, don't forget to add the grouping factor for your cable, if all 6 cables are in the one duct.

I think the thing that is important in putting batteries in series is the ah rating. Make sure they are the same. I'm happy for someone to correct me on this. Regarding the controller. Personally I would not go above the recommended voltage.  60V in your case.  Unless you have money to spare...

As Andy says, do all calcs and design accordingly. Why do you want to change the breaker size for something bigger if you don't know what cable is installed?

Welcome to the forum. It looks like the adaptor plugs into a mains socket.  Also the light switch may not have a Neutral wire at the switch, so powering the adaptor from the switch may not be possible.
