yup, and probably a bit of twin & earth in a hosepipe ( well several bits of joined cable with the odd bit of hosepipe.

I kid you not.
I installed a single outside socket for a farmer once, not far from a barn using 6mm SWA.
I went back 6 months later, and he had extended from that one to a whole string of outside sockets (in little wooden boxes on wooden posts) all down the side of the field. There must have been 6 of them, at least 200 metres to the furthest one. It looked to me like he was setting it up ready for a caravan field.

Buckets are the old method, these are a more professional solution I have heard.

A wholesaler gave me a couple of those a few years back as he had not sold a single one. I ended up binning them.
This method works just as well & costs nothing

They must be working on the theory that the bottle is waterproof as the drink doesn't filter through it so if if can't get out, them by default it won't get in!!!!!!!
