Domestic Metal consumer units

I was in the local hardware shop today. I see they are selling adaptors that screw into an E27 lamp holder and convert it to a GU10 type socket.

If you look on eBay you will find an adapter from pretty much anything to GU10. I have a selection here, and the other way round for convenient testing purposes.
