I believe that although Scotland is supposed to be self ruling  , it's still propped up by English taxes. 

ha ha .............. yes, but to get a Scot to agree with that is like getting blood out of a stone.

I feel that Scottish independence  suddenly grew when North Sea Oil & gas  was discovered .   I don't think Scotland funded it's extraction ...wasn't that the big multi- nationals .     I know it comes ashore in Scotland but then that would create much needed jobs.

110% agree .................. but Brussels will never agree with that ............ and until they do agree, and do something to change, the EU and Euro Zone are fatally flawed .............

it's why they have moved onto political union,  a rather ambitious aim, create a united states of Europe. Can't see that ever happening ' vive le difference' as the French would say.

But they haven’t moved into political union ....... which is why it can’t work
