Hi,

Does anyone knows if there's any difference in water pressure when using a storage heater vs gas heater?

I've seen responses online where people mentioned that storage heater helps increase water pressure and is suitable for rainshower pipe while gas heater does not.

Is this true?

Thanks!

I don't think it's really a water pressure issue, but how quick can an instant heater heat the water.

A stored water heater may take a long time to heat the water in the tank, but will be able to deliver a high flow rate of water for instance to give a really good shower, at least until the tank of water runs out.

An instant heater has to heat the water as you use it, so has to be a much higher power heater in order to give a decent flow rate at a decent temperature..
