Not wanting to be alarmist but  sometimes you think , what the hell is going on in the world .

Just read that police are arresting one terroist a day in the UK . 

They are also taking down 1000 terrorist internet sites PER WEEK. !!

I think we've been on Orange alert for the past year .

And what was that last week ?    Memories of the Cold War of the '60s .....two Russian bombers , transponders switched off, flew down the East coast of the UK  last week .     A flight of Tornados was scrambled  to escort them away .

The Ukraine situation is worrying.  If the yanks start pouring weapons in it could turn nasty.

Was watching Ross kemp something or other on now TV. A lot of Finn's and Sweed's are joining the Ukrainian nationalslis as a first line of defence :|

It was pre WW1, Finland was a part of the Russian Empire. (In fairness, it was part of Sweden for hundreds of years before that).

National service is no longer compulsory back home, but it's only been like that for the last few years. And who knows, it might change again after the Russian submarines snooped around in the Stockholm archipelago last summer.
