My old twin wheel transit was useless in the snow especially if it was icy underneath. I would imagine the new one will be just the same. Luckily we don't get too much snow down this way.

Glad it's not just my Vito! Front wheel drive is always better in snow anyway
not always - my van would be pretty bad in the snow if it was FWD

it would be even more useless if you are towing anything

but then cars are usually better FWD because there isnt always enough weight on the back

My Touareg is great in the snow  :B-

I use ,mine for work so the 4wd comes in handy, especially for towing in bad conditions.

60Kva genset on sheet ice anyone?

:shakehead

thats not snow,

Dave, is that snow?

Ive lived in England on and off over the past 20 odd years and Ive never seen bad snow anywhere! [fair enough, Ive not lived anywhere north of Preston]

6" and the weathermen are panicing and places are shutting down, all because people dont know how to drive,

It's about all we get her living by the coast  :coat  . I'm hoping for some to fall this year as we missed out last year.

I used to do a lot of work in the glens o Antrim, boy did that get drifts! Had an old Talbot Express, never let me down.

The only once I couldnt make a hill was going up to '5 corners' I think it was called outside Carrick,

Had to reverse and go round, :(

Thats alot for a 110v drill!
:D   It was actually to supply a speciality market at one of our Christmas lights switching on ceremonies. Each stall holder was given use of a 3m x 3m pop up gazebo. 36 stalls all with a 5ft light fitting and from memory at least 16 of the traders were preparing hot food so had to take into account hot plates, Burco boilers and fridges etc all running at the same time.
