Hi
Not done a lot off testing but I'm a bit confused on this result. 2.5 ring in plastic truncking and the cable is fp200. Tested both lines ...0.14 ohms, same for neutral but the cpcs come back as 0.00 ohms. Checked connections all seem okay. Its a fluke tester and its about a 20 metre run.Is this a good reading or not for a ring cpc? I thought it had to be higher than the other readings. Thanks in advance.

If the bare cpc is in contact with the inner foil then r2 can be lower than expected. The cpc of an FP200 cable is the same csa as the other conductors so don't expect it to be higher.

parallel paths and leads not zero'd correctly or a fault?

hasn't got to be higher and that would depend on how its installed. you should already know by the csa size of the lives & cpc which number will be higher. usually the cpc but not always. and then there are paralle paths. metalclad boxes onto structural steel and you're not going to get accurate readings of the cpc on its own
