Last Christmas, I wound 6 x 720 LED strings round a tree in the front garden. It looked rather nice. It took 2 days to install, so I left them there all year. Now, quite a lot of the bulbs are rather pathetic. I've bought another two strings of 960 LEDs to add to the others.
Can I wire them up together somehow - all the transformers and function (twinkling/chasing etc.) boxes are rather cumbersome and I'm not sure my sockets can cope with too many extensions.
We have had an external double socket wired in just for the tree lights.
Is there any way of joining different strings together without loosing power to the bulbs? Keeping all the plugs dry may also be a problem as they are such bulky transformers (last year we had 6 cables snaking in through the window, and they were all plugged in indoors). Adding another two strings will make it even harder!
Any advice will be very gratefully received.
Thank you very much,
Carl
