I want to get power to a detached domestic garage building on a piece of land I own and UK Power Network want to know the KVA requirement.
It will only have 2x light bulbs on a 5A lighting circuit, 2x double 13A sockets, 13A security camera/alarm/LED floodlight, 15A vehicle leisure battery conditioner/charger and eventually an EV charge point (probably32A 7.4Kw)
Am I right in thinking that I will need a 10KVA supply ?
I won't be doing the work myself, but I need to know what to ask the contractor to quote for.
Thanks.

How far is this land/garage from the domestic property to need its own supply?
Power is supplied overhead from telegraph pole to houses in street and said pole is less than 10m from my garage and 9m of that is actually within my curtilage.
